Welcome Message From Chairman Herrick
Dear Friends and Supporters,
The 2014 election was a big success for the Republicans in Saratoga County, New York State and the Nation. I want to extend my congratulations to all of the candidates and a sincere thank you to the Committee members and the volunteers that made the election such a success. From our endorsement process, to the petition drives and all of the campaign activities, the election was the culmination of a lot of hard work by many, many people.
Saratoga County was part of the historical election of Elise Stefanik to the 21st Congressional seat. Elsie is now the youngest women ever elected to the U. S. House of Representatives. While Jim Fischer did not win the 20th Congressional seat Jim campaigned very hard and ran a campaign that all Republicans can be proud of.
We re-elected our incumbent Senators Hugh Farley and Kathy Marchione and did our part to secure a Republican majority in the NYS Senate. Senator Farley and Senator Marchione's margins of victory is indicative of their hardwork representing their constituents. Being members of the majority will be a great benefit to our County.
